Who We Are
ListingClimb ("we", "us", "our") is operated from India. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
Data We Collect
Account data
- Email address (from Google sign-in or magic link)
- Display name and profile picture (if signing in via Google)
- Account creation timestamp and last login
Payment data
- Payment reference IDs and order IDs
- Pack purchased, amount, and timestamp
- We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or banking credentials — all of that is handled directly by our PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
Scan data
- Amazon ASINs, listing text (title, bullets, description) you submit
- AI-generated scan results and reports
- Scan timestamps
Analytics data
- Page views, events, device type, country, anonymised IP
- Aggregated session behaviour and heatmaps (no sensitive form fields are recorded)
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the Service (run scans, manage credits)
- To process payments and issue refunds
- To improve product quality and AI output accuracy
- To send transactional emails (purchase receipts, refund confirmations)
- To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use scan content to train public AI models.
Third-Party Processors
We work with reputable third-party service providers to operate the Service, including providers across these categories:
- Authentication and database hosting providers
- Application hosting and content delivery providers
- Payment gateway providers (PCI-DSS compliant)
- AI model providers — your inputs are not used to train public models
- Analytics providers (page-level and session-level)
- Email service providers (transactional and support)
All processors operate under appropriate data protection agreements. Specific vendor names are available on reasonable request — email support@listingclimb.com.
Data Retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active, deleted on request
- Scan data: retained for as long as you want it accessible in your dashboard
- Payment records: retained for 8 years for tax compliance (Indian law)
- Analytics data: up to 14 months
Your Rights (DPDP Act)
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent to processing
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity
- Lodge a grievance with the Data Protection Board of India

Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypted secrets, least-privilege access, and database-level access controls. No system is 100% secure; we will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board if a breach occurs as required by law.
Children
ListingClimb is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, email us and we will delete it.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies for authentication and third-party cookies set by our analytics providers. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time — note that this will sign you out.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
